Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students enrolling in Year 7 from 2026 are eligible to apply for the scholarship, which reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to excellence in learning within a supportive Catholic community.

Year 4 were introduced recently to 'book tasting'. It is a great way to explore a variety of books and see if any ignite their imaginations or curiosity. By simply looking at the front cover, reading the blurb and choosing a page or two to read helps them decide if they are interested enough to read the whole book. What a great strategy! Our Student Leadership Team had the honour of attending the Bishop of Parramatta Student Excellence Awards last Thursday. We are beaming with pride over our Mini Vinnies Team! Their unwavering dedication to embodying the Catholic Social Teaching is truly inspiring, especially their selfless passion for uplifting the less fortunate. We are so blessed🙏 to have our excellent Teacher Assistants, and last week we were able to show our appreciation for them. We held a special morning tea in their honour, and the students wrote some beautiful acrostic poems, highlighting how special they are to them. They work tirelessly with our beautiful children, not only inside but also outside the classroom, helping them become the best they can be.
