This week on 'Way Back When - Wednesday', we celebrate Sister Kieran and visionary leadership during her time as principal at St Patrick's. The newspaper article from 1977 highlights a special luncheon held at St Patrick's Primary School, where Australian and Lebanese mothers came together to build understanding, friendship and community. At a time when our school community was growing and becoming more culturally diverse, families gathered to share food, conversation, dancing and traditions. The article reminds us that the values we cherish today, respect, inclusion and a strong sense of belonging, have long been part of the St Patrick's story.
